Materials, accessibility advice
Toni Vyse joined the project with the Hemel Campaigners to help add their own thoughts and suggestions, review the training materials, and make sure they are accessible.
The training information pack we have developed includes session plans, templates, advice and activities

The presentation
We delivered the training for the presentation day, together with 2 representatives from Hemel Campaigners. We explained the project, used film, music, drama and gave participants the opportunity to try out a number of resources and materials. We presented the materials that each organisation will have on their USB sticks. We explored values and beliefs around disabilities, learned the new song and started the #Proud2BARumble campaign
Song
We have created a Rumbles song – the group have chosen ‘Proud to be a Rumble’ as the theme this year – and the song ‘Proud’ has been created with support from Abdul Conteh, who has been facilitating African drumming in our song-writing sessions
Session support for organisations
Neil Hoskin, Expert by experience for the Integrated Community Support Commissioning Team, Health & Community Services Hertfordshire County Council and winner of last year’s ‘Leading Light’ Award, has agreed to be involved, and he, the Hemel Campaigners and members of The Pioneer Spirits/Rumbles have made themselves available for advice and to call-in to organisations to support if and where needed
The Rumble Awards and the #Proud2BARumble song
We delivered feedback on Step 1 of the project and ran a #Proud2BARumble workshop to feed into the song, which everyone then performed, with drumming with Abdul Conteh of Herts Drum Circle, at our presentation for the Learning Disability Partnership Board (Hertfordshire)
