The Pantomime at The Sandpit Theatre, a professional Theatre in St Albans<\/p>\n<p>The play delivered a positive message about people with learning disabilities, and was created by the whole group based on a series of improvised scenes. This included a custard pie fight and a dance by \u2018Pants People\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-781 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/pioneerapproaches.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/pants.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pioneerapproaches.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/pants.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pioneerapproaches.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/pants-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pioneerapproaches.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/pants-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We worked very hard to make this a professional performance, and we created all our own songs and background music, which included The Rumbles\u00a0<strong>in<\/strong> the story.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hertsdirect.org\/your-council\/councillors\/ccllrs\/romamills\/\"><strong>Roma Mills,<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0local councillor for St Albans, very kindly provided signing for people who were hearing impaired\/deaf and we were delighted to perform to a full house of people with a range of disabilities as well as many professionals<\/p>\n<p>The Pantomime brought together a number of people and of 22 people in the cast, 20 had learning disabilities and\/or autism, ADHD or other differences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In January\u00a02012, we performed Pants!
